The ABUS GRANIT™ Detecto XPlus 8077 yellow 12KS Black Loop Lock-Chain Combination offers an innovative alarm system alongside highly resistant locking technology.
The 8077 Yellow 12KS120 Black Loop puts many obstacles in the way of thieves. Bolts of up to 13.5mm made from specially hardened steel. A chain to attach to a fixed object. A tamper-proof ABUS XPlus Cylinder. An alarm unit that emits a warning signal, which is audible from a considerable distance, if there is an unauthorised attempt to access your motorbike.
Once activated, the GRANIT™ Detecto XPlus 8077 yellow 12KS Black Loop displays a red flashing LED light to warn thieves to leave your bike alone. And if you ever need to lock up more quickly or have no suitable object to attach to, you can also use the lock on its own as a classic brake disc lock.
Features
12 mm strong loop chain with fabric sleeve to prevent damage to the motorbike‘s paintwork
The chain, the 13.5 mm bolt, the housing and the structural parts of the locking mechanism are manufactured from specially hardened steel
3D Position Detection – detects vibrations and the smallest movements
Alarm at a volume of at least 100 dB for 15 seconds, followed by automatic reactivation
The lock can be transported in a closed position without activating the alarm
Acoustic and optical signals (multi-coloured LED) display the battery and activity status
ABUS XPlus Cylinder for extremely high protection against manipulation such as picking
Two keys included in the scope of delivery
ABUS Code Card for duplicate and replacement keys
Two standard AAA batteries to supply the electronic unit are included in the scope of delivery
Tips
You can order several one-key-fits-all locks. That means you can use a single key or closure in conjunction with multiple locks
Lock-chain combinations are a good solution for attaching motorbikes to fixed objects
The loop chain enables optimal utilisation of the chain length
2 in 1 lock – the lock can also be used separately from the chain
The chain is specially adapted to the Detecto 8077 Brake Disc Lock and cannot be combined with other locks
Please note that the lock-chain combinations do not necessarily fit the same brake disc as the individual lock
To limit the possibility of brutal attempts to smash the chain, it is best not to place it on or near the ground
When the alarm is activated, the red blinking light also has a deterrent effect
