The TFX1 AIRFLOW SHORT is designed for trail trips in the heat. It offers comfort, safety, robustness, and ventilation. Made from tough 3D mesh fabric and perforated goat leather, it includes an AirGO PROTECH® shell and VibraLess™ anti-vibration pads.

Our high-end Trail Adventure glove, the TFX1 GTX, has gotten people talking by winning the Best Rider’s Equipment Trophy*; such are its characteristics and design, making it an essential item in the premium segment. And so, we’ve created a ventilated version designed for riding in the wide-open spaces in summertime. We therefore proudly present the TFX1 AIRFLOW. Shorter and more compact, it’s constructed to offer comfort over long distances, safety on both dirt and asphalt, and optimum ventilation to make it pleasant to wear even when it’s very hot outside.

Designed for comfortably racking up the miles at the controls of a big trail bike, it features a full-grain goat leather palm that is very supple and perforated to help perspiration evaporate. Its breathable comfort lining in Coolmax® fabric fosters airflow and helps you stay cool and dry for longer. Air penetration into the glove is maximized with the cover over the AirgoProtech™ metacarpal protective shell. This shell is made up of an outer rigid shell and a soft, honeycombed inner element, which also improves airflow. In short, everything is designed to limit perspiration as much as possible, as well as the risk of developing blisters.

The elements that make up the fingers of the glove are put together with external stitching to enhance the feeling of comfort and precision at the controls. And a new comfort element is making its debut in this style: VibraLess™ anti-vibration pads (a FIVE innovation) on the thumb and palm, which aim to absorb vibrations felt at high speed during off-road or uneven-surface tracks (damaged tarmac, gravel, rocky surfaces, etc.).

When you’re racking up the miles at the controls, heavy with fuel, there’s always a chance you could take a spill. Therefore, we’re committed to ensuring that the TFX1 AIRFLOW is extremely protective, specifically on the palm, in case it makes contact with an abrasive surface such as rocks or asphalt. The most exposed and prominent zone on the hypothenar and thenar eminence features a wide SuperFabric® panel, a material made of epoxy resin, which is highly resistant to tearing and cuts while remaining extremely flexible.

Meticulously designed down to the last detail (with anti-twist ties, the Touch Screen™ system, a Clear Vision Pad, etc.) to be just as comfortable and effective on the road as it is on a dusty track as soon as temperatures rise, the TFX1 AIRFLOW forms the perfect duo with the TFX1 GTX, which is designed for cooler and wetter conditions.
