Not the Pro (bonded waterproof membrane) set-up so you get 3 components, which I like, as Summer comfort with flexibility for dodgy weather was most important for me.
I have a sit up Versys so needed length in the jacket. At 6’4, the 5XL jacket is a tad large for me, but I’m more than happy with it. The waterproof liner folds up small enough to fit under my seat easily for quick insert if I get caught out in the Summer.
The armour is easily accessible, and the shell is washable, with the correct tech fluids I believe.
The collar has a handy hook and elastic loop set-up to let more air in whilst preventing the open collar flapping around your neck. Large vents on the chest, cuffs and exhaust vents on the rear are keeping me cool really well.
The highly reflective panels look totally grey during the day, with no glitter effect.
For me, this is an upgrade from my 2 year old RST Blade 2 and the extra money was more than worth it to save on bulk, length, weight, features and style.
Richa’s short zip fitted as you’d expect. I’m more than happy with is and would recommend the jacket.
If I was riding all day every day, I may have gone for the Pro, but for multi season casual/ occasional long touring, this jacket is perfect in my opinion.
