Shark Evo-One 2 - Blank Mat KMA - SALE

I've just changed from a Shoei Neotec to this Evo-One 2 and having no regrets. I, like many others, tend to get ridiculously hot in warm weather especially when the speed is limited so the airflow vents can't do their thing. The ability of this helmets design to ride open faced is a game changer. I know with most flip lids you can lift the front section up and ride like that but it removes the face protection and is far from comfortable when the speed builds up. Add to that the issue of walking in and out of the garage with the lid open and catching on the garage door because you forget about the extra height on top of your head. Oh, and this is the legal way of riding with a flip lid open for those that are interested in that. In both open and closed forms, the helmet is well balanced and I barely notice any change between the two which my neck will be grateful for. The open face is comfortable up to 40-50mph and it is easy to transition from open to full face covering but be aware that that visor will automatically lift up to avoid catching with the chin guard which is when grit a rubbish can catch your eyes. When in full face mode, I found the wind noise to be lower than my Shoei and the visibility of the visor also offers a larger area which again is a winner. So as you can tell, I'm very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend to those that are considering a flip lid helmet.
